Radisson On Flagstaff Gardens Melbourne

It was our very first visit to Australia. The location of the Radisson was just brilliant. It was very close to the Flagstaff metro station as well as the tram station. The trams are very well connected and were free in this area. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The park opposite the hotel is beautiful. The buffet breakfast is basic, but good. We realised that omelettes are not free, but you could get fried, poached or boiled eggs on the house. Also the heater in the room was a big blessing during our stay in the peak winters. What we also loved was the Champagne they left us in the room on ice, on the house, since it was my birthday one of the days we stayed, which was a lovely lovely gesture on their part!

Excellent location overlooking beautiful parkland. Ideal for trips has they often pick up at this hotel. The staff where amazing and could not do enough for us. The food in the restaurant is excellent and some of the best we have had while in Australia. The beds are very comfy and the soundproofing works well. Overall we felt this was the best hotel so far out of the 5 we have stayed in while travelling. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent location, tram at front door, 2 min to Queen Victoria Markets, comfortable scenic walking distance to everything in CBD, nice park view. The room was good, bathroom was very nice, shower rose had a nice strong flow, water was hot. The bed was very comfortable, a great night's seep. Pillow choice adding to the comfort. Lifts and lobby were clean and visually pleasing. Orange infused cold water in lobby a refreshing treat. Staff were amazing. Very courteous, helpful, respectful both at reception and the restaurant. Valet parking convenient and efficient.

Great location and due to my work schedule I don't have time to go exploring for food, so I purchased the room with breakfast included. Sadly they have discontinued the morning omlette bar and the lovely old restaurant manager is no longer there. However the hot breakfast buffet was still great and the evening restaurant manager (Peter I think was his name?) was excellent and he made me the best hot chocolate I've ever tasted (this was dessert for my evening meal). Also just around the corner is a 24 hour minimart which is great too. I had requested a room on or above 4th floor to help me sleep regarding traffic noise and they succesfully did this. The room wifi was good, although it seems to become a bit tricky if you turn the tv to plug your laptop in via HDMI on as it seems to then want to keep asking for a code from the tv which was annoying but I ended up turning the tv off and using the room wifi instead of the tv casting wifi.
